Zebra,

First find a picture you like. Once find one, right click your mouse on top of that picture and you will see a menu pop up. You will see the term Properties displayed at the bottom of that menu, click on it. You will see the properties display pop up; in the center of that pop up you see a URL address. Highlight the address right click your mouse again and press copy. You must be signed in to the Blog, go to the Dashboard (you will see that selection on the top right) then select edit profile. You will you profiles page come up. In the center there is an open box that should be blank under the photograph section, right click there press paste and then go down and click on save profile. This should do te trick and your picutre should be displayed. Good luck, and I hope this helps.

Zebra,

Glad you liked it. The internet is a wonderful thing, you can find almost anything imaginable.

Moonie,

Glad you were able to follow my instructions as well; the picture however is not very viewer friendly, I would have gone with the other one.

Good to have a zebra in the house.I think that public critique will keep them on their toes.I have seen way too many refs who shouldn't be on the mat.Dissapointinly, at STATES.

Spiderman said...

Galactus,

It was more my intent to have a ref here to answer specific questions on rules, regulations, bylaws, etc. Nut I'm sure much will be discussed about individuals as well.

GALACTUS said...

Spidey,I don't intend to have this become trash the ref forum but if a ref does something in a match that is so wrong as to be egregious, then that individual must be called out.I actuallu believe that most refs are competent.I remember a few years back when states must have gone to Ronald Mcdonald college to pick their refs.I commented on it on FKU and the Sheriff immediately zapped it then threatened me by E-mail.what a guy!

Spiderman said...

Galactus,

That will never happen here, I will allow the site to be shut down before I allow censorship.

I have read the bylaws of as spiderman calls them "the governing body" and in fact he is correct. Esencially, any coach, official or representative of that governing body found to be making public statements that critisize, referee, schools, coaches, students or otherwise would be subject to sanction by the governing body, and the member school is any who the accused represents. Penalties include but are not limited to fines, suspension, and the possibilty of be fired from their position. It would be wise to head the words of the spiderman.

Hey Zebra.I have a question about wrestlers on their back twirling their fingers claiming injury.I have seen this happen too many times with the wrestler on his back prevailing.I feel that this is dishonorable and coaches who permit it should be ashamed. what are the rules on thisabused practice. Also what is your opinion?

Zebra said...

There is no doubt that the twirling finger is often used as a tool. Unfortunately due to the risk of a real injury and a referees inability to distinguish between real and tool, it is policy to always give a wrestler an injury timeout when requested regardless of judgement.

There is no "rule" against using the finger to get off your back in and of itself, and it will likely be impossible to make such a rule. But it is a point of emphasis in the ethics section of the manual, and the onus is put on the coaches to instruct their wrestler in matters of sportsmanship and ethics.

It is a shame and an insult to wrestling everytime it happens but it does happen too frequently.

There are things a referee can do to minimize wrestlers doing this, but none are approved, sanctioned or even encouraged, but a referee might do the following at his own discretion.

If you can't "see" the finger twirling, how would you know he's hurt?

If he is really that hurt, maybe a quicker pin so the trainers can rush in might be better for the athlete anyway.

GALACTUS said...

Thanks for your answer,Zebra,I believe thet your answer in much closer to the opinion of a very well regarded ref now retired. He said 'If the kid is on his back claiming to be hurt, call a quick pin to be sure he gets help quickly.'

I love having the Zebra on here, it's great to have insight from behind the stripes. I think it was also an honest assesment on his part. Thanks again Z.
