HML has always been a great tournament with a lot of out of town teams coming. I wonder if this year might be different because of last weeks South Ridge tournament. Spider, were you or any of your close associates at the South Ridge tourney? Any news from that tournament that might quench, even if for a little while, this thirst for knowledge.
Sorry he banned me again. He ust have some privilages to do so directly even though his bosses put me back in. Lets see what happens.

Brandon, WOW, that is news. I have wanted to see Grajales wrestle for some time. Ok, ever since his picture was posted on Mysterios page. He looks tough and everyone talks about him. Hope he comes. Would Oviedo come down or are they afraid they will never leave Dade county alive with South Dade coming as well ;-)

He was not banned per say or so he tells me, they just removed his post because he put a link to my Blog.

Well I guess that will happen to my post as well. Hopefully that will not end up in my getting banned. So it seems that no one wants to talk about Dade Wrestling and its cloak and dagger information.
Southridge was a really good tournament.
South Dade, American, Hialeah Miami Lakes, Braddock, Southwest, Miami High, Homestead, Pace, Southridge were all there with a lot of kids. Cardinal Gibbons, Golden Gate, Palm Beach Gardens, Palmetto had a couple of kids there as well.
Over 140 wrestlers in the Junior division. 7 weight classes were at least 12 wrestlers strong.
Brandon usually comes down to HML. Oviedo brought a couple of kids down last year. Got screwed out of the Koziel vs Salerno final last year, they both wanted to hit the road. More of the Fort Lauderdale kids will make the trip to HML. This should be a great tournament.
For the past couple of years Southridge has had the first tournament and then HML has a tournament a couple of weeks later. The Southridge tournament doesn't affect the HML tournament. I expect to see Hialeah in attendance with their new coach.

Coach KW nice to see you here. It has been said that you ran the tourney at South Ridge, any news to offer. Anything that caught your eye. How does Columbus look. How about South Ridge. Give us anything to chat about.

Every year it surprizes me how much talent is in dade county. Just when you think Dade is going to have a down year fresh new faces pop up and surprize everybody. American High has already impressed me. They just went from being a school with maybe one good wrestler to a very respectable team. I mean just the fact that they showed up on time is a major improvement. Love him or hate him that Tuban-Cuban does a helluva job! A few names that are going to do some damage in the near future are Earl Hall, Mattie Noffo, Mauricio Villanueva, Quint McPhearson as well as a few of them HML kids.
It is good to finally have all the super heros and super villians on the same site. Thanks Spidey for making it happen. It looks to be an interesting year.

Columbus was there, but not with many of their big guns. Jake Rio took 2nd losing to Josh Williams SD. Allen Pena had to leave early, he lost to Montalvo SD. They had quite a few kids there in the Cadet and Schoolboy division, but no Gulesians (running Cross Country) or Abadine (he might be back on the football team). Columbus is benefiting from having a Columbus alum coaching at Glades, they probably got 4 more wrestlers from Glades this year.
Southridge will be tough. They will have Joey at 119, Lubin at 125, and then either Fonte or Molina at 130. Throw in Silva in the middle weights and some good young kids that no one has heard of. But once you get to 160 they will have a nice lineup. Dyvon Passmore, Javoris Plain, Robert Lilly, Ervin Chunga, and both McCray brothers at hwy. They may not be the best, but they will be tough. Passmore went to state last year and almost beat Tom Timothy at the Father Devine last year. Both Passmore and Plain went on the Team Florida trip to the East Coast Duals and had winning records.

I believe that southridge will give southdade a run for their money..southdade is weak at the upper weights, southridge has a mighty tough line up dont be surprised if you see an upset that night..i wont be
