All I can say is WOW!!!
I appreciate so many of you stopping by my site, I guess after the long summer many of you were thirsty for some REAL information, some REAL commentary, and some REAL laughter. Well you have come to the right place and we would appreciate more of you taking part and freely expressing your opinions within the boundaries of good taste.
I had not checked my analytics page to see what the readership was like, and much to my surprise it has been through the roof. Even in the summer when the site was dead there were 30 to 40 of you checking in regularly to see if anything new had been posted, but once the word got out that the Lair was once again active, we have seen an explosion of activity. Our first week back we were hovering around 60 to 70 readers, the following week we broke 120, and yesterday we nearly hit 200 readers.
Thanks again, we appreciate the following.

I love your blog spidey. I have been a reader for a years now and decided to post something finally. I have been reading your version of Dade Wars for years now. Hilarious but true. Balmasolo, I love it. Everyone knows Mendez was the best of the SW bunch from that era. Give him half a stud and watch out. He just does not get many.
sms,
I am very glad you have joined us and I hope you become an avid participant; I look forward to reading more of your posts.
The Blog has not had its second birthday yet, but it is quickly approaching, we will turn 2 years old on October 17 2008.
Many said it could not work, that I could not sustain a site single handedly, and yet here we are thriving.
Many thought that I would run back to FKu with my tail between my legs, and they thought I would break my vow to never post there again, they were wrong, I have not posted over there in nearly two years.
I do have lots of help over here by a regular cast of characters, some anonymous like myself, Moonknight, Doom, the Devils Advocate, The Watcher and even a funny character know as Playswithdogs who comes around every now and then. We also benefit from the extensive knowledge of KW and we get lots of random input from many anonymous posters.
Thanks for the props, and see you on the Blog.
I welcome your return,Arachnid.
I guess that there has been no shortage of controversies during the offseason. As has been previously said.Look out ,its going to be a bumpy ride.
I will be visiting on a regular basis spidey. I understand you are a fisherman. Me too. I guess that makes you OK.
Galactus,
Welcome back my friend it's nice to see you around these parts and I'm glad you are paying attention, we hope you will have a firm presence on the Blog this year.
sms,
Fishing is one of the not so simple pleasures in life; it requires a vast array of attributes that can sometimes define a person. For example, a fisherman must be Patient, he must also be intuitive, he must have the flexibility to try new strategies, he must be able to adapt to different environments and conditions, he must have perseverance and not give up when the action is slow, and when the sky turns black and the sea's turn sour, the fisherman has to be brave and have the moxy to weather the storm. If fishing is not the perfect metaphor for life and a heck of a training tool for living, I don't know what is or could be.
What are you favorite fish to catch, and which do you like to eat?
sms,
BTW, great looking boys, looks like they will make a hell of a tag team.
Spidey,I'm looking forward to doing some ice fishing this winter. It's really cool
Galactus,
Your choice of words is precious.
You need to have a second handle, I suggest the "Punster"
Ice fishing is really cool...
LOL!!!
AHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH!!!
I like catching sails, swords, wahoo, king, tuna, and dolphin can be fun too. Personally i like grouper and yellowtail to dine on. I like grouper filets and yellowtail whole (unless it is reallt big.)
sms,
RabĂ Rubia Frita y enterita ese es mi pez
Yellowtail is also the funnest fish to catch, nothing like that initial run by a tail is quite as satisfying, pound for pound the hardest fighter around.
Though for arguments sake I will present that a big Black Grouper running for it's hole and me with my custom made 8' rod bent over with the Accurate Drag50 lined with Power pro on lock down is also quite the rush.
Damn, now that I think of it, How do you beat a 25lb Mutton that comes out of the wreck to destroy a pinfish and heads back to the wreck like a locomotive while you try to turn his head with a Penn Spinner and a light action rod.
WOW! I think I am going fishing tomorrow, and hey I just gave you a ton of info on my equipment, if you ever come out with me and you see my rigs you are going to say OH! $HIT! You are Spiderman???
I ought to get you together with my dad so you can compare rod's. He! He! He is no spiderman, he is more like Darth Vader of the Redlands.
There's nothing like a monster Goliath grouper eating almost anything and taking off like a semi full of Hialeah Fendi knock-offs! Those will take anything from Permit to small sharks off your hands.
Deco
You should try a big lake or rainbow trout they are delicious and slipperier than Balmeceda's hair products.
However,Rabirubias rule
