Not sure how many people are looking at this these days but I wanted to put up some info on the ICW summer technique camp that will be held at Coral Gables High School the week of June 23rd.

The gym doors will open at 7:30am to begin the registration process. The first session will begin at 9:30am. I want to make it clear that no wrestler will be allowed to participate in the camp until they are fully registered (there will be no exceptions). By fully registered I mean they have filled out and turned in a completed registration form that includes their insurance information and is signed by a parent/guardian if the wrestler is under the age of 18 which I suspect most will be. Also all camp fees ($250) must be paid prior to the wrestler stepping foot on the mat the first day. I have suggested pre registering for the camp as we have limited space available. So far only a few have done that. I am expecting most to register the day of and the gym to be a little chaotic for a while. You can avoid that by pre registering!!

For all you coaches out there. There is a coaches fee of $150 for the camp unless you bring with you 10 wrestlers in which case you can attend the camp at no charge. I think that this is a nominal fee to learn techniques from some of the finest wrestling minds our nation has to offer. You cannot find this group of people anywhere in the country and even if you could you would be paying at least 10 times our camp fee amount when you consider travel, lodging, food, fees, and other incidentals. If you feel like there should be a special exeption made for any reason you need to bring it up to me ahead of time and we can discuss. I won't discuss at the door.

Now that that is out of the way I just want to say how excited I am about our group of clinicians! I am confident that our campers will receive the finest wrestling education available in a one week technique camp format. We have every single USA freestlye coach for our olympic team going to China (Lee Kemp, Kevin Jackson, Kerry McCoy), a probable olympian (Mo Lawal, currently ranked #1 at 185 lbs), past olympians (Jamil Kelly, Sammie Henson, Shawn Sheldon), past world cup champion John Fisher, and the 1st NCAA champion from Harvard University in over 50 in Jesse Jantzen. This line up can't be beat!!!

If you have questions or need more info please visit our website at www.innercitywrestling.org or email me at campinfo@innercitywrestling.org.
