I was wondering why traffic was so slow yesterday and today, but I was just apprised by a good source that Dade County Schools is in FCAT testing these nex few days.
There goes my readership. LOL!!!

Amen to that brother. I was proctoring (proctologing?) FCAT retakes for FOUR HOURS today and this junior decides, after a week of being reminded that electronics would not be tolerate, to take out her cell phone and turn it on and start texting or whatever. Result...invalidated math test. Better luck next year. I'm sure that I could have come up with a more productive use of my time.

This testing crazyness has to end, we did go through all this crap and we turned out OK right? It's just another way to justify wasting millions while Teacher pay still sucks and education has not gotten any better. Not that it was ever any worse, but perception reeks havoc so...
I admire the hell out of you teachers, I don't know how you do it.
I don't mind spending a day in the gym watching movies and eating pizza. Heck, I don't mind doing it for three days. What are you guys complaining about?
