112 Columbus always has huge surprises at this time, problem is the surprise is always on them
119 Williams out Acosta in.This is probably true. Acosta give SD a better chance at beating Chandler and maybe getting another state finalist.
125 Surprise move from Columbus might affect the 130 class as well. Once again there will be no surprise here. Rio will not travel to 119 nor will Guillisien drop to 125. Nice to know you blend crap with some real insight.
130 Lovette Hmst drops from 135 as well as Figueroa Gol and Gonzalez MH.This may also be true since they did not perform that well at GMAC. This would be a wise move for these guys.
135 Montero stays at 140. Once again this may also be true. The fear of Sanders dropping to 140 makes some people scared but in reality where will they run to, BAEZ? If he plays his cards right he may be the only stud at 140.
140 Watson Hmst drops to 140. Possible but not likely.
152 Garcia Am drops to 152 Clarke takes 160 Possible but not likely. Both made it to the GMAC finals and were in competitive matches so it makes little to no sense to switch.
160 Encarnacion was going to drop, but stayed after Garcia dropped. Alvarez MH moves in. Another possible but not likely move. Once again you bring lots of information that gets people riled up but no facts to back up your statements. It feels as if you are just fishing.
189 Abadin Col. Moves up to 215. This also seems very possible especially since the disaster at GMAC. Their 215 did not look up to snuff and Abadin looked sloppy, tired and out of it at 189. The only problem is that after a season of trash talking I am sure Columbus will want to place as high as possible as a team and that means Abadin at 189.

No one really ever knows what will happen. Only a few coaches go around talking. For the most part most keep to themselves. So whether any of these changes take place is yet to be known.
I can't wait until Districts and Regionals. All this ranking and people talking $hit. That is when we will know what teams are working hard. Columbus will tear a new a$$hole on everyone. Peace, Love.

Columbus will perform similarly to how they performed at G.M.A.C., unspectacular for the top dogs, but good for a private school. I know you had your heart set on winning a District title this year, and it is not beyond the realm of possibility, but it is also possible it may have to wait until the next recruiting class comes in.

I like SM and SW craking the top 10even though it may sound crazy, but both teams are getting healthy and wrestling better specifically SM. Pardo is doing really well with some of his guys.
I also think AM and COL will drop a little neither has a track record of finishing strong.

If you think COL and AME will drop then why do you have AME at 2. They should at least be 4 or 5. They placed 3 at the GMAC and I agree with you that they will probably drop. I can't see them having 6 guys in the finals again. I think people should look out for Braddock. Every year that team of coaches has those kids ready for the wrestle backs. Southridge will stay at 2 with their whole group of kids wrestling strong and finishing the season the right way this time.
I have AM and COL there because I said that is where I think they are now, today, but I think they will drop come regionals. Give us some of your input if you have the time. I'm getting tired of reading all this other stuff going around.

Dist 13 OK
Dist 14 Mia and Gables, I don't think Hialeah can finish ahead of Gables with 6 wrestlers.
Dist 15 I tease Sup, but Columbus can win it, in either case, the worst hey finish is 2nd. I do make BRD the favorite though.
Dist 16 OK
SW cracking the top 10 is not a stretch, especially with two top notch wrestlers returning to the line-up, but SM, I don't think so.
SM has shown a little something in the upper weights, but will be struggle to get anyone to qualify for the big dance, though Castro is coming on.
Hey you rated Am and Col 2nd and 5th respectively and then said you expect them to drop based on historical performance. Well which is it?
AM has someone new writing their history, they will be top 4 at worst.
Col has enough power to move into the top 4 as well, though I think 5th or 6th is more likely.

Regional
1. South Dade - simply put, out of anyone’s league.
2. Southridge - I thought less of them but they proved me wrong. They seem up to the task of repeating as the 2nd best team in the county.
3. Braddock - year in and year out this crew and team always seem to get massive points thru the wrestle backs. They will eventually appear in the top 5 thru out the tournament and end up in 3rd.
4. American - tough call between them and Columbus. Osorio’s teams have always faltered in the regional tournament and until he changes that I can’t change my opinion. They did a lot to improve that image at GMAC but this is regionals.
5. Columbus - man what a fall from grace. I have ran the numbers many times and they just can’t handle the competition in Dade to make it to the top 3. They have a very good dual team but in tournaments very few of there kids seem to step up. Changing their line up and strategies may help but may also hurt as well.
6. Homestead - This team is looking to get back to the top 5 and they are on the right track. With a very small and young Hall they have the makings of a great team in the future.
7. Southwest - Southwest is getting all of their studs back for this tournament. The Ramirez twins and the return of Olivera makes this team 7th best in the county.
As far as final match ups they will be determined by the brackets and district placing. Hopefully we will have a great Spiderdamus and DADE WARS for our reading enjoyment soon.

I can promise that the Spideydamus will make it's 5th annual appearence, but I can 't speak for the Dade Wars. Doom is Missing in action, I don't know what's become of him. I have reached out to him Publicaly and privately to no avail, I hope he returns soon but...

Columbus will kick everyone’s ass! They'll win the District in a run away, dominate and capture the Region trophy, then, then fly into Lakeland on you private jet and double the combined scores of South Dade, Osceola, and Oviedo combined and take home their first ever state title in wrestling. Then you can laugh at everyone as you run past dressed in full underoos while you scream with delight.
Yeah that is one scenario, a comic book ending if you will, but more than likely it will go something like this.
Columbus 2nd at districts chokes again and gives up an opportunity to win a district title they have not seen since 1992.
Columbus comes up short again at the regional, 4 lucky souls make it out to Lakeland, and Columbus finishes a disappointing 6th behind Palmetto.
After the first two rounds two explorers find their way to the semi finals and two are out at the all you can eat Chinese buffet in Lakeland. Both lose in the semis but one goes on to take third while the other one falters to fifth. Columbus finishes 9 at the state tournament and should be thrilled to have done so well.
I wish I could show more originality, but I like to keep my posts as factual and realistic as possible.

I have not used any kids names and I have not said a bad word about the Godfather. Neither am I weary of being "explored" so far everyone that has tried has failed. I welcome the scrutiny, bring it. I did not attack Columbus; an explorer came to my sight and started making preposterous statements which I could not allow to purvey this site with such far fetched rhetoric. I gave him the opportunity to back track and he challenged me to start a poll on the subject so I did. He persisted further so I responded in kind, and now it seems we are at the point in the game where the Spiderman pushes all his chips into the center and exclaims to the table “I’M ALL IN.” So will the Superman recognize that I (as usual) have a superior hand and fold, or will he call me and find out just what I can do with a great hand.

Now every year you have been very boisterous if not eloquent on your observations of teams and coaches yet this year seems oddly different. You seem to have focused most of your unscrupulous mind for American and against Columbus. Your recent attacks on a site member known only as Superman has caught my attention and the attention of many other members, readers, and the occasional passerbys. He comes out and expresses his belief that you and Osorio are one and the same and instead of brushing it off as you have so often done you go on the attack and shift the attention to him. Who is to say who you really are and if Superman is correct in his assumption. Makes a man wonder as he sits in the pale moon light.

To add insult to injury I am a fan of the Columbus kids and coaches. I have seen them go from proverbial nobodies to contenders. Yes they are missing a piece here and there and their contingent of parents may very well be obnoxious and arrogant but those kids wrestle well and have a Godfather to lead them. It has not been those kids who have come on the scene and talked trash or even badmouthed any other team. Because of this I felt that your attacks and insults that were supposed to be directed at Superman, became a dagger and pierced the hearts of the Columbus team. I have not come out and said outright that they will surprise everyone at Regionals but they might just do that and more. If ever a team needed to be goaded into a fever frenzy it is them and you may have just given them the required injection of testosterone they so dearly needed. It may very well be you eating a huge stack of crow when it is all said and done.

II thought other anonymous made a great point and Osorio would be off the hook, but that would be too easy.
I remember when I was Mahler and I moved to the Pan Handle, people said that I still had Dade County access, and that is how I was doing it.
When they thought I was Pardo, the guy could be coaching in the corner and me posting simultaneously, and they'd say he had his wife doing it.
Whelan always has a computer with him so that it very incriminating in and of itself.
Anyway...
I don't think I'd be able to pull this off if I were a coach, but I do take periodic absences at strategic periods just to keep you guys guessing. At times in fact I am at the tournaments with you watching and obviously not posting. Tomorrow for example I will be at the District 16 tourney so you will not see a post from me unless it's very early in the morning.
Of course, if I were a coach and I just wanted to throw you all of the scent I would say…
