Who will win? American VS Columbus
It a simple question, let us know what you think and why. What are your scenarios?
We have a month to discuss it as they will not face of until the 7th of January, I'm sure much will change between now and then but the implications are that the team that wins this match will be the official Brides Maid, the First Loser, the number ONE team in the City after the Best team in the city, the second best team in Dade County because we all kow who the best team is already. It's a good thing there is at least a little Drama for second place or this might be one boring a$$ season.

Columbus, hands down. Too many high quality wrestlers. American's guys are not in the same league. I wish this match was tomorrow to put an end to this nonsense. Columbus might take second to South Dade, but who wouldn't mind being second in Dade County. Ameri who, Ameri who, Ameri who...Columbus.
American wins without question. Columbus might have a few studs at the lower weights, but unfortunately they match up with American's studs too! Once those matches are out of the way, that's when Osorio's weapons come out at the heavyweights, where he's proven to dominate in the past. To make it an even simpler explanation than that, Columbus just doesn't match up well against American; therefore, American wins and Columbus loses. Sorry Eggsplorers!

I was under the impresion that Pena was kick out of school due 2 selling drugs. Now I dont know who will win.

stragedy is everything and I say Husk beats Osorio.
No way, Osorio will beat Husk any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Columbus will make it close but leave being the third best team in dade.
Columbus wins and Ore will not beat there 125. Pena will pin or major his opp. Same with Abadine, Rio, Nodar

The only thing this poll proves is that a lot of American and Columbus people are on here. Now that we have seen a bit of the season how about seriously ranking some teams without disrespecing anyone or any team. Here are mine.
1. South Dade

3. American
4. Braddock
5. Southwest
Hey anonymous, we know your team (wink, wink)South Dade is number one. How about letting us wrestling fans debate and discuss the other teams who will be wrestling this season. Its not all South Dade you know. There are other teams out there who are pretty good.
I agree with the top four rankings.
1. SD - Not even close with all those recruits.
2. Col - Noffo(112) puts them over the edge over.
3. Am - Too many wholes.
4. Bra - Chandlers will score massive points.
5. Pal - Full team with average wrestlers in every weight class.

I don't think it is logically sound to assume that all those voting in the poll are either Columbus or American people.
For example, I voted on the poll and I am neither Columbus nor American.
OK bad example because I am Osorio, but if I weren't it would be a good example.
So lets just say for arguments sake that I am not Osorio because then you have a bad example.
Of course since I am Osorio the example sucks.

South Dade is not number one they are better than number 1, they are the reigning and soon to be state champs, and are considering changing the School name from South Dade to South Brandon.
Rumor has it that Lakleand will send them their award and tell them to forget spending all that money coming to Lakeland. The plan is to have the finals anyway but every finals match in 3A will be for 2nd and 3rd only. At the end of the night there will be a 3A tournament champion but they will only get the second place trophy.
Word is the FHSAA is has the same exact plan for Brandon except that they will get trophies for the next 5 years and don't even have to wrestle anymore. The hope is that complacency will set in and in year 6 some team other than Brandon might have a shot to win the 2A title.
Wanna bet Noffo can't beat whoever American sends out at 112? God forbid he try to go 19, Harris will put a spanking on him he won't soon forget
I agree Noffo can't beat Harris or who ever American has at 119, but Noffo will score major points in the wrestle backs. That will make the difference between 2nd and 3rd place and by the way, Columbus Rules!!!

I could set up a poll, but the polling system on here does not allow for numbered rankings, you may either vote for one team or multiple teams but not place them in any certain order.
If I can figure out a way to use a numbered system I will. In fact, I can start a thread and take numbered votes and do a tally to figure out the votes. However, I will not tabulate any anonymous votes because of the ability for anonymous voters to cast multiple votes and stack the deck. I will start the poll but only take votes from registered participants.
Registering is simple, merely put in an email address and password and you are good to go. Your information is completely private, I can not see it nor can anyone else unless you select to make your info public. Anonymity is sacrosanct on the Spiders Lair, and you must register if you wish your vote to count. I assure you it is very safe and simple to do, if anyone needs help let me know and I walk you through it. I will give everyone a day to register and start the poll tomorrow. Registering will be better for the Lair anyway, that way we know who we are responding to when we post, not the actual person, but at least a persona, it is essential for continuity and I think it will breed further interest.
