I was a little surprised to find that Hall lost. I wonder if the transfer has affected him at all with style conflict or other factors.

There was a POSSIBLE set of back points that weren't called. If Earl wouldn't have gotten ridden out for the rest of the first period, or scored a takedown in the second period, it would have been a different match. This match was very similar to several of his matches last year with Mauricio, except that his throw in the closing seconds did not score this time.

KW,

Thanks for the recap, I'm sorry I missed the match but have no doubt it went down just as you stated.

Here goes KW, talking to himself again!!

I love it!

yeah kw, great analysis. i bet if hall would've scored more points he would've won. why are we always trying to find an excuse to why someone lost. give credit to the other guy for winning, period.

Anonymous said...

oh, kw, hall's jock strap is a little to small for you so get off it. go paint the field for your girl's soccer game or something.

Anonymous said...

Braddock AD a South Dade man. Wonder if his boss likes that.

paint field for soccer girls???

pretty lame way to attack kw dont u think?

Anonymous's,

Some of you are being unfair to KW. As for his synopsis of the Hall match he is clearly speaking as a homer and I don't think he was trying to hide the fact that he would have rather seen Hall win the match. I don't think he was taking any credit away from his opponent, but rather notating how the match could have gone differently had Hall Finished some maneuvers or acted less conservatively.

As for KW pulling for SD kids, that is to be expected, he has tons of time and even money invested in those kids, just because he picked up and went to Braddock to be AD does not mean he is just going to abandon kids that thought of his as friend and mentor. I'm sure as time goes by and KW loses his association with the kids that were there while he was there that his affiliation with SD will diminish, though I don't foresee him ever losing his close friendship with to Balmeceda.

Paladin a adult attacked KW first. Thats so childish, Paladin I am very disappointed in you. I used to be a fan of how you coach and how make you good programs now I think you are very inmature and a jerk, A$$HOLE!

Anonymous,

I do not believe Paladin was attacking KW, I think it was a tongue in cheek comment on the quick post and response method between myself and myself.

LOL!!!

Anonymous,
If that is how you feel, good for you. KW and I are friends and "accuse" each other often of being the famed Spiderman. I appreciate your acknowledgement of my adulthood - I sometimes wonder if I have gotten there yet.

Thanks!

anonymous,

Sorry if my comments took away from the tournament that Laxton had. He had a dominating preformance in the semis, I believe that he pinned Bliss from Springstead in less than 1 minute. Also, he was able to ride Earl Hall for well over 1 minute to keep the 2 - 0 lead in the first period. He wrestled well all tournament long. Plus he is a big 103 pounder. Laxton should do well in February.

My comments were directed at Spiderman, specifically. I was pointing out the fact that this result was very similar to the matches that Earl and Mauricio had last year. Mauricio had leads in the GMAC and State Final matches, but Earl found a way to pull them out in the third period.

Paladin, I'm not mad at you, it was kind of funny to be talking with some of my other personalities.

wow kw is NOW on SD, Braddock coaches, Spiderman, Paladin, Balmegay, and now Hall and his dad's

South Dade shouldn't be allowed to compete due to their recruiting.

Why is everyone shocked that Earl Hall losted the guy that beat him is also a stud to be honest with you guys im suprise the score was that close i though Laxton would have won by at least 4 points but i guess i underestimated HOW GREAT Hall really is remember theres good wrestlers everywhere not only in DADE County so don't get shocked when some1 from Dade loses..

Hall should be sitting out a year like all the other seven wrestlers recriuted by SD from Homestead, Sunset, and other schools in dade. If they dont win states, they should start recriuting in Nationals.
