We are going to have a poll for each weight class, but for it to be accurate you must only vote for who you feel will be the state champion and the state runner up, though you will have 6 choices. Please only vote for two wrestlers.

I told you so. I pissed and I pissed until I could not piss anymore. Everyone got a little of my piss on them and we took 2nd. No one challenged me and my 125 and 145 did horrible. I know I make them cut too much weight, so what. Neither of them lost 1.5 a week. It was more like 3 pounds a week and I got them to make scratch weight for districts. I will continue to cheat as long as I can get away with it. Dade County coaches are soft, I've got them in my piss bag. I'm out.

What anonymous means is that you are only allowed to lose 1.5 pounds a week. If someone weighs in and wrestles at 160 at gmac they cannot wrestle 152 or 154 at districts because they are losing more than 1.5 pounds a week.
I don't care. As it is, I'm pissing right now as I type, I can do it all.

Man you really are bitter. Maybe Osorio did piss in your mouth or something. Why didn't you challenge him? I am guessing you were lacking testicular fortitude and feel safer to come on this blog and spew anger and hatred towards a coach who just might be one of the best in the state. Cudo's to his American team and staff of coaches for taking second in their first year there. By the way his 145 lost to a state runner up and his 125 lost by one point to one of his former Hialeah wrestlers, for some reason that doesn't seem all too bad from this vantage point. I think you should really give him a call and ask how he turns programs around so fast and maybe he will give you some pointers with a glass of urine. In the meantime you should go back and try COACHING your kids instead of attacking a fellow coach on this site.
Congratulations to South Dade, American, Columbus, and all of the schools that will represent Dade county at the state tournament this week. We know you will make Dade proud. Go get 'em boys.

Apparently the abundance of Polls has caused the site to respond as if the Polls were spam. It may take Google a few hours to correct the problem, if and when it is resolved I will continue with the rest of the weight classes, until then, there is no point.

I have it on good authority that the American wrestlers in question did in fact make scratch weight at the District Duals. I wish I could name my source but I can not. Just know that my source is very credible and very informed.
So they made scratch weight at district duals, then went up for gmac to 130 and 152 and later came back down for districts disregarding the 1.5 pound a week rule.

And what is wrong with that? What if the 130lber weighed in at 127 for G.M.A.C. and the 152lber weighed in at 157? I think that is plenty of time to get back to where they needed to be.
Besides the 1.5% rule is from the beginning of the assessment, if everyone came back down at 1.5% after ballooning through the holidays, 50% of the state would be ineligible. There is no way to keep track of that so stop crying and wrestle.
I would like to thank all of you for the tremendous turn out an participation in our state polls. I think the results in Lakeland will mirror for the most part the consensus on the polls, and that in turn will prove the informed and accurate assesment of the readership on this site.
