LET'S GET IT ON!

I was going to come in the afternoon, but the more I thought of it, the harder it was to resist.

There are some great first round matches and some killers quarters that I don't want to miss; so the hell with it, I'm calling in sick.

I could never forgive myself if I missed the Nates Morales match...

I'll See you there, but will you see me?

The Morales and Nates match was bad official. I truly believe it should of been different, but it was a classic. Another great match was Rio vs Rat, plenty of action.

Good matches this weekend. Some outcomes were expected, while others were unexpected. Lets see how I did with my picks last week.

103- I picked Hall for GMAC and Harris to win regionals. Boy was I wrong. I should've stuck with Hall. I was correct in picking Noffo 4th, as well as the 4 qualifiers, but I picked the wrong order.

112- I was correct with 1st-3rd, but was wrong with 4th due to the formula hurting Barreras. I think he was the 4th best.

119- I nailed this weight class down 1st-4th in the same exact order as they finished.

125- Just like in the 112 pound weight class I picked 1st-3rd correctly and was wrong with 4th. However, the formula had nothing to do with the 4th place finisher as Aguila(Goleman) beat Perez(American)in the Consolation semi's. I picked Perez to finish 4th.

130- Congratulations to Joey Morales who I did not think was going to Lakeland this year as a competitor due to his effort in the GMAC finals and district finals. He did earn his 2nd place finish this year by beating Nates, then Gulesian. He did get a break in the officiating as he was obviously hanging on and stalling against Nates and Gulesian. But he did score early and beat 2 good wrestlers to take a 2nd.

I did not pick the correct order of place finishers in this weight. That is why they wrestle the tournament.

135- I was only correct in Tico taking 1st. Santibaez placed 4th I picked him to finish in 3rd.

140- I was correct in picking the 4 state qualifiers in this weight class but wrong order with the exception of Perez from Sunset who I picked to finish in 4th.

145- I correctly picked 2 out of the 4 qualifiers but was only correct in Sanders finishing in 1st.

152- I was correct with Montalvo as I only picked him to win it.

160- I just realized today that I didn't even predict or choose any place finishers in this weight class last week so I can't comment on this weight.

171- I was only correct with the finalists in the exact order 1st and 2nd, I was wrong with 3rd and 4th.

189- I was correct in picking 2 of the qualifiers, but was only correct in picking the exact order in the champion.

215- I correctly picked Wiggins and Castillo to qualify, but was only correct with Wiggins in the order that he finished.

HWY- I was correct with picking 2 of the qualifiers but only correct with picking Chinchilla to win it.

Good luck to all the Dade state qualifiers in Lakeland next week.

Sincerely, The Watcher

As I reclined in the plush ottoman in my palatial suite at the Lakeland Center, sipping wine, eating grapes of victory. I looked in the mirror and saw a perfect image wearing a wreath of victory around my head and I thought "Vini, vidi, vici".Once again, and rightfully so,I am the emperor of wrestling reigning supreme over those usurpers th my magesty.I will now languidly bathe, then have one of my assistants annoint me with the scented oil of victory so I may go out among my people and regale them with my presence.Once again.I am:

Thank you so much for that, you are talented and imaginative, and there is a place for you here in the Spiders Lair.

Short but side splittingly hilarious; all post's should be that good, you have set a standard.
