The state of the economy has everything in flux, and the Spiderman is no exception. I have been extremely busy in meeting after meeting trying to resolve some personal business issues and that has at times kept me from being more vigilant of my Blog.
I would love it if there was someone that stepped up to help out when I am indisposed but as of yet no one has done so; therefore there is not much I can do when I am called to personal or business matters about keeping the site relevant.
Even Rome fell, and so will the Spiderman. Don't think I have not contemplated retirement because I have. I have been at this for 10 years, and there will come a time (and it could be soon) where I will hang up the web shooters, and if there is not someone there to take up the cause this format will be lost.
My apologies for not being ever-present, I do as much as I can single-handedly.

We forgive you spidey. There hasn’t really been much to talk about anyway. The only thing I would like is for people to comment on the event that occurred at the Ken Dod Duals.
Did anybody know that Coral Gables went undefeated that tournament?

Coral Gables, Varela, NMB, Miami High, Westminister, Baypoint, Homestead, Sunset, South Miami. I don't think they wrestled everyone though.
Here's a thought. Spiderman is complaining that he may want to retire soon while he announces a position for wrestling for Osorio. So Spysorio wants to quit both jobs, or is the heat getting to him?
Who did Coral Babble Wrestle! Did they wrestle Sunset? Did they wrestle Miami High? Did they wrestle NMB? If they didn't then why come on here and brag about their undefeated record? Details would help.
They did wrestle all of those teams. They beat Homestead.

so I take it that they did not beat the other teams since you did not specify that they did. so they lost to Miami High, NMB, and Sunset but beat Homestead. So why brag about going undefeated at the Dodd Duals?

I was not aware that Gables had gone undefeated. I wish someone would have posted the scores from that meet. Whom exactly did Gables defeat?
I doubt they went undefeated against all of those teams if not they would have written the score.

I do not beleive SD was at that event.
I don't think they would be welcome in the Homestead gym, just a guess.

The first time there was any mrntion of illegal recruiting in the Homestead area was about 3 to 4 years ago. McCoy of South Dade and the people in charge @ Homestead coached whatever they had in the building. If Lamar Irvin showed up one to register at Homestead, or Humberto Reyna showed up to register at South Dade, it was just assumed that there was where they wanted to go, and that was the end of the discussion. Now during the dual meet, plenty of B.S. was given out by both sides, but after the match, hands were grasped, ther were some hugs, and still some moaning and groaning. But it never got to the hate that is spewed on this board. When you live in an area where a prominent street is the dividing lines and many of the local hang-outs are frequently shared, you learn to co-exist peacefully.The community in Homestead will support a winner from either school in any sport, this hatred of South Dade comes more from outside than inside the community. The bottom line is that South Dade's program has maintained their level of excellence over the years, and regrettably, except for a few individuals, the program at Homestead has gradually deteriorated. Rationalize it, analyze it or critcize South Dade and their arrogant coach, but those are the facts.
it's funny how you never heard anybody complain about the ones that transfered out of south dade but the $hit hits the fan when it's the other way around
