Heads up for all coaches. You can see the minimum weight certification for every wrestler from any school. Just log in to nwcaonline.com click on coaches and then click on state wide results. Every year we have certain schools that move wrestlers around. Make sure you remember who your guys wrestled and how much their opponent weighed. For example, if a wrestler is certified for 130, but wrestles 145 weighing in at 135 or above and it is past the date that he is eligible for 130 then he just lost his 130 certification. You need to look out for your wrestlers and not let them get screwed over.

Thank you I did not know this. Some of the stuff that happened last year was bs. We need to pay attention to who weighs in where and at what time of the year. That 's probably more important than what the minimum certification is.

South Dade should run away with GMAC especially with ALL the recriuting. HML are full of men, that don't know how to wrestle but have battle scars to show for their experience of life. I pick them over American, at least for GMAC, American is known for running away and never bringing a full team. Columbus just sucks!!! Palmetto will have individuals that will do good and score major points on top. Besides that Dade is horrible, we need to go to Brandon to learn how to wrestle.

What happened to the seeds Spiderman?

Spiderman said...

Supreme,

I agree it is important to know the rules, and I agree that everyone should play by the same rules. Unfortunately, as both you and I know, that is not always the case.

Anonymous,

I am still waiting on the seeds.

Mr. Whelan is a very busy man and I'm sure the lack of respect showed to him in demanding that he disclose the list is not motivating him to move any quicker with sending them along.

You all must understand that Mr. Whelan far exceeds his job description in regards to wrestling, and antagonizing him can not go over well with someone that works so diligently for wrestling.

He is not required to assemble and dispense any of this so to demand it from him is silly, if I were him I would be reluctant to compile information for you idiots as well.

The rumors and accusations that I am KW may now resume.

There is trouble with the FKu Server today, their system is really slow and the email will not refresh.

I also agree that KW does not owe any fan anything. He goes out of his way to inform the wrestling public about results, seeds, and additional information.

Incredible, instead of being thankful and grateful that KW is usually on point and quick to give results is taken for granted by many. Instead people whine and complain demanding for him to give up info.

By the way did Columbus and South Dade wrestle yesterday? If they did does anyone have results.

I did go to the Columbus vs American match as well as American vs South Dade. Based on what I've saw in those 2 matches I am going to assume that SD beats Columbus.

it was a severe defeat for columbus

What tournaments have Palmetto and HML gone to? I wonder how some of these seeds were determined.

Spiderman said...

Abonymous,

The seeds are typically determined by some preset criteria.

I am not privy to what the criteria was but for example,

1. Might be returning state champ or placer.

2. Head to Head Competition.

and so forth.

I'm sure the coaches argued their points and their positions, and I'm sure the seeds were done based on consensus so I would think the more deserving wrestlers actually received the higher seeds.

I'm amazed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a blog that'ѕ both еducаtive and еntеrtаining, and let me tell yοu, you've hit the nail on the head. The problem is an issue that not enough folks are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy I found this during my hunt for something concerning this.
